Founded in September 1986, LEITOR RECORTES has been rendering clipping services (newspaper and magazine clippings)
to medium and large size companies as well as to press advisors in all areas requested by its clients.
In order to meet its clients’ needs, LEITOR has in its mailing a total of 210 newspapers: 169 are daily newspapers of the
main capital cities in Brazil and countryside cities of the States of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais,
Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Paraná; 27 are newspapers of several districts of the capital of São Paulo
and 14 of directed circulation (specialized press); there are also 415 magazines of diverse segments to cater
for a portfolio of 1400 clients all over Brazil and 190 in Europe.
The task of localizing and processing the material is carried out by a team of 101 employees, 87 of which are
based in São Paulo and 14 in Rio de Janeiro.
The team is divided into groups, namely, client service, reading, finishing, search on the Internet, digitalization,
images edition and delivery of material to the clients.
Leitor Recortes is today the largest clipping company in Brazil, not only in size of operation but also number of
clients.
Computer networks, software specially developed for its own needs and high quality equipment give support to the
activities of Leitor, both at the head office and at the branches.
Today, in addition to clipping, Leitor renders additional services of location of news and news
service evaluation, which follow: Measurement – Online – Web – Digital Clipping
